Imagine walking the entire length of the London Underground Bakerloo Line, covering over 30 kilometers. Sounds exhausting, doesn’t it? But that’s exactly what our brilliant team from Hiremech did. They not only conquered the challenge but also managed to raise a whopping £5,000 for Dementia UK!

The Challenge

Dementia UK is doing incredible work to improve the quality of life for people with dementia and their families. Team Hiremech decided to support this worthy cause in an adventurous manner. The task was not easy, they had to walk the entire London Underground Bakerloo Line, which took more than five and a half hours to complete.

The Team

The team consisted of Senior Sales Executive Ben Creighton, Hire Controller Kris Mosiej, Sales Support Serkan Cinko and Andy Brown, who is 72 and set the solid pace. They commenced their journey at Harrow &  Wealdstone station and ended up at Elephant & Castle, passing 23 stations in total.

The Outcome

Despite the gruelling journey, the team kept their spirits high. Their perseverance paid off when they raised an impressive £5,000 for Dementia UK. This remarkable achievement will go a long way in supporting the work of the charity and helping those affected by dementia.

What’s Next?

After the success of this challenge, the team is already talking about completing another London Underground Line in 2024. They have proven their commitment to making a difference and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.
