FAQs
RTITB stands for Road Transport Industry Training Board. It is the accrediting body setting the standards for transport training in the workplace. Their high standards ensure safe use of materials handling equipment, such as counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, stackers, pallet trucks, order pickers and teletruks.
IPAF stands for the International Powered Access Federation. IPAF set the standards for the safe use of powered access equipment and MEWPs. The safe practices set out by IPAF apply to lifting equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, low level access platforms, and cherry pickers. Once you have successfully completed your IPAF course you will receive an IPAF PAL card as certification.
