Beer connoisseurs of London will be more than familiar with the name Camden Town Brewery, the north London microbrewery that has taken the capital’s pubs by storm in recent years. Recently, the people behind the beer got in touch with us to enquire about some industrial cleaning equipment for their Enfield premises.

Choosing the right cleaning equipment

Hiremech did a consultation with a member of their team to figure out their precise needs, and eventually settled on two scrubber dryers, a pressure washer, and a sweeper, all four machines manufactured by Karcher. Karcher is a German company, notable for making cleaning machinery that is a head and shoulders above all its competitors.

B60W Walk Behind Scrubber Dryer

This machine utilises Karcher’s KIK Key System, as well as a dose system, auto fill and lid rinsing.  This will serve the beer production area.

Karcher BR35-12C – Small Lithium Battery Powered Walk Behind Scrubber dryer

Ideal for tight confines of their production line. This unit will work around the confines of the production line and its compact size lends itself anywhere else that needs a good scrub up.

Karcher HDS801B pressure washer

This pressure washer is Honda petrol engine driven, with a diesel heater system for unsurpassed mobile cleaning power.  Camden Town Brewery will utilise this for all their outdoor cleaning requirements.  It is robust, powerful, and uses the latest ergonomically EasyForce lance gun system.  This will serve the outer perimeter of their new premises making light work of grub and grime.

Karcher KM90/60 BP Sweeper

This is a highly Manoeuvrable ride-on vacuum sweeper.  It is battery powered for indoor and outdoor use, and has advanced features with a KIK Key System. Camden Brewery will utilise this for their extensive outer perimeter and carpark with the addition of running it in the larger indoor areas in preparation for their scrubber dryer.

Eagle eyed readers of the Hiremech blog will notice that we’ve actually done work with the folk at Camden Town Brewery before. We helped the brewery relocate its production machinery from its small premises on a sleepy Camden mews, to a much larger premises in Enfield. The microbrewery is a client we’ve worked with on a number of jobs in the past, and hope to work with long into the future. And last, but by no means least, if you’re gracing one of London’s pubs tonight, be sure to order a Camden Hells!

As London’s leading forklift hire and sale company, we’re used to undertaking jobs that help keep the city moving, and this one is no different. If you’ve got a job that requires a forklift, or any other kind of materials handling machinery, get in touch with one of our sales team to find out the different hire and purchase options we can offer you.
