What does a forklift training course include?

Courses consist of theory and practical assessments. These will determine whether or not you are competent in forklift truck driving. Upon successfully completing the assessments, you will receive the certification to prove that you now have the required qualifications.

All our comprehensive driving courses start with an informative introduction. We will provide an explanation of current legislation and the operators’ safety code. This will bring you up to speed on the relevant theory you must learn. To pass the course, you will need to complete a theory assessment to test your knowledge.

We will teach you the skills and knowledge to carry out daily inspection procedures.

Having this knowledge is vital, as it will allow you to check your forklifts before operating them to ensure they are safe to use. We will also teach you load-handling theory to ensure you comply with Health and Safety regulations.

The final part of the forklift truck driving course will involve a practical assessment.

The forklift truck driving test requires candidates to perform a number of manoeuvres in a safe manner.
